Travel Insurance Geographical Coverage
Depending on which type of travel insurance
you intend to take out, there are various options in terms
of geographical coverage. Each of these is outlined briefly
below, but during the quotation process you will be able
to check on whether individual countries are covered by
your policy.
The UK Only
Includes England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland,
The Channel Islands, and The Isle of Man
Europe and the UK
As above, but with the addition of all countries in Europe
and countries west of the Urals Mountains, the Azores, Canary
Islands, Iceland, Madeira and countries bordering the Mediterranean
Sea (except Algeria, Israel, Lebanon and Libya).
Australasia, Europe and The UK
As above, but with the addition of Australia and New Zealand
Worldwide, Australasia, Europe and The
UK
Global coverage, with the exclusion only of certain countries
outlined in th epolicy documentation. You can choose to
either include or exclude the USA and Canada with this cover.
